Christian singer/songwriter, Derek Sandstrom, offers music where scripture meets experience and results in healing and deeper faith. Derek brings strong, clear vocals, the sparkle of synth and the soul of sax...plus an honest, transparent look at God, himself, and the world around us. With all this, and an occasional wink of humor, Derek brings you music to be your backdrop for your own healing and deepening faith.
Derek lives in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, area with his wife, Sheri, and sons, Morgan and Carter. He has been a follower of Jesus for many years, and seeks to make his faith active and integrated with his life. Especially important to Derek are the themes of healing, peace, trust, and learning to see ourselves as God does…as His very own children.
Derek has enjoyed a wide variety of music making over the years, and seeks to weave together those influences to express lessons learned about faith and life. In his music you’ll hear Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classical, and maybe a splash of other styles, as well.
